There goes a story of a woman, so sorrowful, that hearing her tale awakens her mournful spirit.

A long time ago, lived a woman named Maria. 
She had a wonderful life with her children. She adored them, but always felt something missing in her life.
One day , while the fair was in town, a handsome stranger arrived with it, this stranger became mesmerized with Maria, he doted on her and promised that he would forever love her and her alone.
This was it, the one thing Maria had been missing in her life, a real lover. 
Life went well for the first couple of years, but after a while, something began to change. 
The man no longer seemed to spend time with Maria, yet instead, he doted on the children instead. 
Maria came to slowly hate her own sons , she wanted the attention of this man on her and her alone.
One day, after the man had left. Maria took her sons to the river , when neither expected it, she grabbed them and forced their heads under water, once she was sure they were no longer breathing, she tossed them in.
Minutes later, she realised what she'd done and let out a wailing scream. Maria ran to the end of the river and desperately dug into the murkey waters, looking for her children.
Filled with deep regret and feeling utterly hopeless, she jumped into the river and drowned herself.

They say if you walk near the river beds, you will see a woman in a white dress , wailing loudly and shielding her eyes. If she spots you with any young children, she will walk up to you and ask.

"My sons, my sons. Please will you give me my sons back"

If you say no, she will reveal her weeping eyes and drag you and your children down into the river with her.
If you say yes, she will take your children, and you will be left to feel the way she had when she lost her children.
If you say, we need a moment. She will become confused and turn for a moment, in this time. Run and never look back , this is your only chance at keeping your children alive.
